The recent outbreak of tumults in Tibet, have resulted in a worldwide movement of protests. This has compelled us to send a signal of solidarity now and for the future.
Under the term “visionary artists for tibet” we are planning an artistic solidarity movement.
The idea is for artists of visual arts to create their positive visions for Tibet.
We want to strengthen positive forces, to focus on a vision and send it straight into the minds and hearts of the people.
The campaign “Visionary artists for Tibet” shall support the Tibetan people in their effort to obtain cultural autonomy, and reinforce this concern in the consciousness of the public. Signs of protest, political statements of any kind, as well as artworks with negative content are excluded from participation.
The art works will be presented and auctioned off to the public in the "Papiersaal" at Sihl City in Zurich. All the proceeds from the auction and the sales of the paintings will be donated over to Tibetan charity Organizations.
Tibetan Monks and the sounds of Tibetan World music will be part of the opening ceremony. The exhibition will be open to the public , from October 14 till Oct. 18th.
So far more than 40 artists have agreed to participate and to create a piece of art for this event. We are encouraging more artists to participate in this cause. [Please contact us by clicking this link]
